Obituary of George P. Miller

George P. Miller, Jr., age 71, of Gibbsboro, NJ, passed away on Friday September 29, 2017 at Kennedy Hospital in Stratford.  Beloved husband of Joyce Miller (nee Wilson).  Loving father of Michelle (Walt) Goshaw of Berlin, Leslie (Brian) Tripodo of Gibbsboro, and George (Monica) Miller, III, of Gibbsboro.  Proud grandfather of Ashtyn, Mackenzie, Lindsay, Chaz, George IV, and Frank.  He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his sisters Janet Jones and Nancy Sokol.

George was born in Camden, NJ and was a longtime resident of Gibbsboro, NJ.  He proudly served in the United States Army from 1966-1969.  He went on to work for the Pipefitters Union, Local 322, Winslow, NJ.  In his free time, George loved boating and fishing.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory.  Military honors will begin at 8:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations in George’s name can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org/donation.
