Obituary of Reginald Grose
Reginald “Regie” Grose, son of the late Grace and Jackson Grose was born on October 6, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pa.
Reginald Grose, affectionately known as Regie, came to know the Truth, at a very early age. Regie graduated from Murrell Dobbins Vocational Tech High School in the class of 1977. Once graduated Regie continued his education at DeVry University. Regie worked over 40 years in the computer tech industry.
In 2001 he formed a union with Deanna Sistrunk and Devon; soon after they moved to Sicklerville, New Jersey where the family flourished and enjoyed their time together. Married for 16 years, Regie was a loving and devoted husband. A strong, amazing and caring father. A tremendously, reliable and loyal son, brother, uncle, friend and neighbor. Regie gave many gifts to many people but most of all he gave the gift of unconditional love to everyone he met. Regie was known for his tech savvy skills, his beautiful smile and his distinctive silver hair. He also enjoyed watching old westerns and detective movies. Regie was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Sicklerville Congregation. Regie was a people person and enjoyed helping others.
Reginald ‘Regie” Grose passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on October 6, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Jackson and Grace Grose. Left to cherish his memories and to continue his legacy will be his beautiful and dedicated wife Deanna Sistrunk his children Tiffini, Jaret, and Kelly, and stepson Devon Carter; grandchildren Jahmir and Savannah; and brothers Eric (Phyllis) Grose, Jerry (Linda) Grose, and Michael (Vonda) Grose, Tyrone and Sheila Sistrunk his Father and Mother-In-Law, Randell (Theresa) Wakefield his father-in-law, Atiya (Rayvon) Sapp, his Sister and Brother In-Law, and Randell Wakefield, Jr. his brother in-law. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday October 13, 2017 at 12 noon at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1754 Erial-Clementon Rd., Sicklerville, NJ. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Regie’s name may be made to the ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Rd., Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002.
