I was a patient of adriens I am deeply sorry for his passing. I just wanted to share that Adrien changed my life. I met with him at my lowest point in life and he gave me hope he was an amazing inspiration to me and my prayers are sent to you all.

God bless you Adrien and your loving family. My heart broke when I read of you receiving your angel wings. In my eyes you were already an angel here on earth. So strong, determined, kind, gentle, all wrapped together in one beautiful soul. I'll always remember your wonderful smile. I pray for your family and friends who are devastated by your loss. Adrien will always be remembered. He was a great friend of Garrett, & always a joy when he was at our home. He was a very strong willed person, I admired his strength during the high school bus trips. He was determined he would not let his illness run his life. All of us who knew Adrien through his high school years learned many lessons from him, especially to endure & overcome obstacles. God bless his family & friends, sincere sympathy to you.

I am terribly saddened to hear of Adrien's passing. Sincere condolences to Pascal and Allison and all who were close to him.
The story I remember that sums up Adrien most happened when I was teaching at Edgewood Sr. HS. A parent contacted me asking if it was possible for her special needs son to audition for the marching band. We met, and my first exposure to Adrien was hearing this tiny kid blast off on drum set. Instantly, he was in band.
The band kids took to Adrien, and vice versa. Coming to rehearsal was like watching him arrive at his second home. And he worked. Boy, how Adrien worked. Not just to master the material, but to be the master of his condition.
Soon after, as luck would have it, the Make-A-Wish Foundation granted a request on Adrien's behalf for him to see his favorite group in concert. Ecstatic! Then, he found out it was on the night of a marching band performance. Adrien demanded that the concert tickets be switched to a different evening so that he could perform, and somehow managed to get his way. That's who Adrien was to me. The kid that put his team and his friends above himself.
I'll always remember his heart, dedication, and constant good nature. If he was ever down about his condition, most didn't know it because of his smile and humor. I'm fortunate to have shared in a small part of his journey. Peace now, Adrien.

I am extremely sorry for the loss of such a great person. I had the pleasure of working with Adrien when I first started interning at Archway ACT. Adrien was beyond welcoming and had the best groups. The clients still talk about how much of an impact he made up until this day. Rest in Peace Adrien.
