Obituary of Mary A. Mauriello

(nee Fiorentino), age 84 of Cedar Brook, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday September 12, 2010. Mrs. Mauriello was born on December 15, 1925 in Blue Anchor and had been a lifetime resident of Winslow. Mary had been a lifetime parishioner of St. Lucy Church in Blue Anchor where she was married to Robert L. Mauriello, Jr on September 26, 1944. Her warm smile and strong faith in God, while faithfully praying the rosary daily, helped her achieve a life legacy of love, compassion and integrity. She was a natural and talented artist who loved to draw and had a creative flair in whatever she set out to do. Mrs. Mauriello had worked alongside her husband in their family business for 62 years as the secretary and bookkeeper for Robert L. Mauriello, Jr. Inc. Excavation Co. from 1947 - 2009 in Cedar Brook. Mary took great pride in her family and home. She was known for her neat appearance and generosity to so many. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother and also devoted many years to caring for her elderly parents and in-laws. Mary is the daughter of the late Maria & Leonard Fiorentino and is survived by her husband of 66 years Robert L. Mauriello. She is the loving mother of Janice Angulot-Wahl & her husband William J. Wahl Sr., Dr. Richard & his wife Christine Mauriello and Robert & his wife Kim Mauriello. Mrs. Mauriello is the proud grandmother of Robert W. (Denise), Thomas A. (Paula) Angulot, Jr., Richard (Bernadette) Mauriello Jr., David, Kimberly, Kelly & Matthew (Vanessa) Mauriello, great grandmother of Carson, Evan, Sophia, Luciano & Mia Mary is also survived and will be sadly missed by her sister Eleanor (George) Vlasics. She was predeceased by her siblings Frances Reber, Angelina Silipino, Helen DeMayo and John Fiorentino. Relatives and friends are invited to Blessed John XXIII Parish, St. Lucy Church where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 am., Fr. Tom Barcellona officiating. Interment & graveside tribute will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cedar Brook.
