Obituary of Joseph A. McMahon

Joseph A. McMahon, Jr., age 73 of Blackwood, passed away at home on Friday September 24, 2010. Mr. McMahon was born in Camden and had been a resident of Gloucester Twp., Blackwood. Joe had been a member of the Knights of Columbus, Epiphany Council 3485 in Camden and faithfully defended his country in the U.S. Marines as a Lance Corporal. He had worked for over 25 years as a Facility Clerk for RCA United Stationers in Pennsauken and had loved spending time going to the casinos, fishing spending time with his family and feeding his birds every morning. Mr. McMahon was the husband of the late Myra (nee Cone) McMahon and will be fondly remembered as a stubborn, funny and always faithful, proud Irish father of Kelly & her husband Andy Freeman, Sean & his wife Lisa, Christopher and Heather McMahon. Joe is the proud grandfather and best Pop-Pop of his best buddy Zachary, Kristina, Samantha, Taylor, Sean, Mackenzie, Alex, Johnathon, Stephanie and great grandfather of Gianna. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his sisters Joan F. Connelly and Gloria Seddon. Joe's memorial celebration will be held privately.
