Obituary of Marvin G. "Bake" Dilks, Sr.
Marvin G. Dilks, Sr."Bake," 83 yrs. of Berlin New Jersey passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017.
He is predeceased by his parents, Stewart & Mary Dilks (Green); son, Michael S. Dilks and brothers, Wesley Dilks, Mahlon Dilks and Bowman Dilks. Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Myrna Dilks (Couch); five children, Marsha Johnson (Kenneth, Jr.), Marvin Dilks, Jr. (Gail), Malinda Trueland (Robert, Sr.), Mary Lou Hotz (Steven, Sr.), Sharon Sharp (Ernie); sisters, Anna Mae Lathrope, Mary Kroliczek and Linda Stewart; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Marvin was a member of the Oak Grove Rod & Gun Club, a farmer, a hunter and a Nascar fan. He will be remembered for how kind and loving he was to his family and friends and just a pure family guy.
Family and friends are invited to attend Marvin's viewing on Tuesday, November 28th from 6pm-9m and then again on Wednesday, November 29th from 9:30am-10:30am and a funeral service will follow at the Leroy P Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. Interment will take place at Erial Cemetery, Gloucester Twp.
