I only knew Ann for a few years, but it didn't take long to feel the unconditional love she so readily provided. With open arms she welcomed me into her life and candidly referred to me as “family� without hesitation.
My relationship with both, Ann and George, has been an incredible gift I will cherish for the rest of my life. I wish I could adequately express how grateful I am for the time we were able to spend together.
I remember sitting at their kitchen table one time and I had to laugh when I saw my reflection in the window. There I was, on a Friday night, playing cards and listening to the oldies. It’s not what I thought I’d be doing at that point in my life, but I can honestly say there wasn’t anywhere else I would have rather been. I truly enjoyed being with them and I miss them very much.
