Obituary of Susan B. Wilson

Susan Burgi Wilson passed away at 62 years of age on January 9th after a very long and courageous battle against cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born Susan Isabelle Burgi on August 11, 1955 to Charles A. Burgi Jr. and Susan Isabelle Nolan Burgi in Montclair, NJ. She came into this world as a tiny ball of fire, lit up our life for 62 years and is now shining in heaven. As she approached the shiny gates we are almost certain she said, "Look at all of those smudges, do you have paper towels?" Susie was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also passionately dedicated to her three grandchildren. Her daily presence in our lives has been a blessing and can never be replaced. She is survived by her husband Joseph Andrew Wilson, mother Susan Nolan Burgi, daughter and son in law Caitlin and Brian Reice, her son Casey Cummings, step daughter Miranda Wilson, brothers Chuck, Richard, and Peter Burgi, her niece Claire Burgi, nephews Gage, Jack, and Sam Burgi, her three grandchildren Brian, Logan and Keegan Reice, and her beloved Nolan cousins Carol, Patty, Mary, Billy, Barb and John. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am at St. Mary of the Lakes Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford, NJ 08055.
