Obituary of Alexander James Giamalis

Alexander James Giamalis, 77 years of Chatsworth, NJ passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Alex is predeceased by his parents, James & Anastasia Giamalis (Cladas) and his beloved wife, Lynn Crowder Giamalis. He is survived by his loving son, Robert Ettinger and wife Stephanie; brothers, Peter Giamalis, George Giamalis and Nicholas Giamalis; granddaughter, Alexis Ettinger and many nieces and nephews. Alex was born in 1940 in Philadelphia, PA and has been a lifelong resident of Chatsworth, NJ. He proudly served in the United States Army and retired from Philadelphia Electric after 32 years of service. Alex was an avid animal lover specifically of his horses and dogs. He was a member of the Woodland Township Planning Board and a board member for the Chatsworth Cranberry Festival where he proudly worked alongside his beloved wife Lynn for many years.
