Obituary of Mariel J. Gibson

Mariel J. Gibson, 87 years of Atco, New Jersey peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 29th surrounded by her loving family. She enjoyed reading, cross stitch, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren. For more than 40 years Mariel was employed as a Nurse. Even after retiring from Kennedy Hospital in Stratford, NJ Mariel worked in private care until she was physically unable. In addition to spending time with family, Mariel also enjoyed lunch with her friends and she was a dedicated a member of St. Mark Episcopal Church in Williamstown, NJ. Her husband, Emmett Gibson, of more than 50 years preceded her in death in 2000. She is survived by her beloved children, Andre Gibson (Nancy), Renee Gibson and Shawn Gibson (Joy). She had ten (10) grandchildren and five (great-grandchildren). Family and friends are invited to Mariel's visitation on Saturday, April 7th from 9am-10am and a service will follow at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. Interment will be private.
