Glenn R. Carlson, 65 years of Atco, New Jersey returned to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 26, 2018 after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. Glenn was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was a Leader at the Atco United Methodist Church and loved his family and church family dearly. He worked for Lockheed Martin in Moorestown, NJ as logistics specialist for 32 stellar years. Throughout his life he gained many friends from his church and his work. He was intelligent, kind and very loving. Glenn is predeceased by his parents, Herbert & Shirley Carlson (Githens). He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 42 years, Ellen Mae Carlson (nee Glanister); loving daughter, Katherine King (nee Carlson); brother, Stephen E. Carlson (Patricia); loving grandson, Noah King; niece, Tricia Carlson and great nieces Abby and Harper. Glenn is dearly missed by his friends and loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is now at peace with his creator. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 1st from 9am-11am at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A funeral service will follow. Graveside service is private for the family and will take place at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Gibbsboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Glenn's memory to Atco United Methodist Church, 2128 Atco Ave., Atco NJ 08004.
