George will be greatly missed on the site he created for the neighbor "kids" Pollock Street. We will always remember George as that tall, skinny kid who was always looking to have some fun with whomever he came across in the neighborhood. Whenever we would meet, we would spend hours just sitting and talking, at the park, on the corner, walking down Broad Street, at the Snack Bar, in the tunnel. It was because of him that we had two gatherings of the people from the old neighborhood. I'm sorry to say he was too sick to make the second, but he did come to the first and we all had such a good time reminiscing and laughing about the "stupid" things we did as kids. He had the best memories and he was happy to share anything and, well, mostly everything. George has left us with a legacy for which we will be forever grateful. We at Pollock Street (especially me and Ron Federico, appointed Administrators of the site) will miss George greatly. Many heartfelt condolences to Cheryl, Matthew and Michael and to all of his extended family. May he rest in peace.
