Obituary of William G. Papsin

83 years old, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010. He was a resident in Vineland Veterans Home. He was born in Newark, NJ. Bill lived most of his life in Westfield and Hammonton NJ. He is preceded in death by his parents, and younger brother Richard Papsin. Bill is survived by his brother George Papsin and his wife Grace of Vera Beach, Florida, Sister-in-law, Virginia (Jean) Papsin of Westfield, his daughters, Deborah Way and her husband Darren of Cannan, New Hampshire, Patricia Rodgers and her husband Richard of Newport, Washington. He had three granddaughters; Jessica, Gracie, and Michelle, and several nieces and nephews. Bill was a veteran of the US Navy during WWII. He worked almost two decades at Celanese Plastics in Newark, volunteered for the Westfield Fire Department, and held various positions in hospitals and casinos. Bill enjoyed deep sea fishing, crabbing, football and bowling. Arrangements are under the direction of the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, Atco, NJ.
