Obituary of William G. Dilks
Age 84 of Williamstown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday November 22, 2010.
Mr. Dilks faithfully defended his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He had worked as a heavy equipment operator for Sharp Bros. in Williamstown for many years. He loved horse racing and had been a hometown fan of the Phillies and Eagles.
Bill is survived by his wife Linda and is the father of 12, grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 10.
Relatives and friends are invited to Bill's viewing on Saturday afternoon from 3 to 5 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, where a funeral ceremony and military honors will be celebrated at 5:00 pm. Inurnment will be held privately.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society 410 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights NJ 08035.
