Obituary of Emily L. O'Rourke

Emily O'Rourke (nee Darcangelo) of Cedar Brook, NJ passed away on Wednesday December 29, 2010 at the age of 88. Emily is the wife of the late Captain William J. O'Rourke (WTPD) and is the loving mother of William R. & his wife Cathy and John A & his wife Susan O'Rourke. She was a caring grandmother of 7, great grandmother of 8 and is also survived and will be sadly missed by her sister Lena LaGrotta and her brother Vito & his wife Catherine Darcangelo. Known as "Aunt Em" to many nieces and nephews. Emily was a lifelong resident of Cedar Brook and had been a founding member of the Winslow Twp. E.M.S. With never a harsh word for anyone, she will be missed by all. Family & friends are invited to Emily's viewing on Tuesday January 4, 2011 from 8:00 am to 10:15 at the Holy Redeemer Parish, Sacred Heart Church, Rt. 73 in Cedar Brook where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Interment & graveside tribute will follow at the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Winslow Twp.
