Obituary of Florence R. Pino
"A swing and a long drive, there it is number 500! The career 500th home run for Michael Jack Schmidt.and the Phillies dugout comes swarming out to home plate." We do not remember days, we remember moments. Like, in 1975, when the Philadelphia Flyers won the Stanley Cup, the '83, 76'ers and the Eagles 2004 Super Bowl appearance. Or, the moments that made a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and finally the moment Florence R. Pino's sun had set on the afternoon of Friday February 18, 2011.
Mrs. Pino was born, raised and spent most of her life in Atco before moving to Berlin and most recently Hammonton. Florence was patient but most of all giving. She had been a longtime member of the Dunbarton Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, served on the Assumption School PTA for over 20 years and was always one of the kitchen ladies at the Assumption Church's pasta bingos and Church functions. She had worked as a Bus aid for the Archway programs in Atco for 14 years. She loved flea markets and yard sales, but at home she enjoyed spending time watching her stories or sports on TV.
Love lives on beyond goodbye. Mrs. Pino is the wife of the late Joseph S. Pino, Sr. and is survived by her children Joseph S. & his wife Lynn Pino, Jr., Marcia Gazzara and Karla Maccarella. She is the proud grandmother of Kenneth, Laura, Charles, Jennifer, Kristy, Anthony and great grandmother of James & Taylor. Florence is also survived and will be sadly missed by her sisters Evelyn Mascolo, Maree Nelson and Rita Liberati.
Funeral services and inurnment will be held privately. As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choosing.
