Obituary of Anthony Ceretelle

The crack of the bat, hearing "it's going, going, gone, Home Run!!", Harry Kalas singing, "He's got high hopes", the up and coming baseball season featuring "the Four Aces" These are things that a true Phillies Fan wants to see and hear, a fan like Sonny Ceretelle. Sonny left us on March 4, 2011 to join the likes of Harry Kalas in the front row of a luxury box awaiting the start of the 2011 season. Sonny, age 80 of Berlin, NJ is survived by his son, Frank J. Ceretelle of Lindenwold. His sister-in-law and best friend, Judi McCrane of Berlin, his grandchildren, Frank, Jr., Zachary, Tyler Jane and August, Aunt, Jennie BelMonte, cousins, Babe Carbone and Phyllis Severino and his former wife, Mary Weber. He is pre deceased by his sister, Carmella Olzek. Sonny was employed at Owens Illinois for over 42 years. He served in the US Army which gave Sonny a chance to visit many counties in Europe. He loved to talk about his adventures in Europe with his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday evening 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday from 10 to 11 am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco where a funeral ceremony will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment, Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin. As an expression of sympathy contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, South Jersey Region, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 would be appreciated.
