Obituary of Cole T. O'Drain
Our Hero passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on March 16, 2011. Cole was born February 14, 2004 with a very rare muscle disease that caused severe muscle weakness, we knew then that he was a fighter. Cole overcame many obstacles along the way with never a complaint. Cole was later diagnosed with eye cancer at the age of four. Cole loved life and made the best of it with what he had. He loved playing in the sand with his trucks, hitting a baseball, working in the garden, hunting and fishing, but most of all, he just loved being with his family. Cole was truly an inspiration to all who knew him or knew of him. The family is very thankful for the support of so many people which allowed them to be at Cole's side for the last few months.
Cole is survived by his proud parents, Colin M. O'Drain, Sr. and Danielle (nee Caromano) of Blue Anchor, his devoted brothers and sister Colin M. O'Drain, Jr. Conor C. O'Drain and Madison R. O'Drain, his cherished grandparents, Roberta J. O'Drain of Waterford, Sandra Caromano of Waterford, Charles J. Caromano and his wife Ruth A. Caromano of Atco and the late Thomas O'Drain. Cole is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers or any other expressions of sympathy, donations to Colin and Danielle O'Drain c/o the funeral home would be greatly appreciated.
