Obituary of David W. Rivera

Age 17 of Clementon passed away suddenly on Friday May 13, 2011. David was born in Stratford and had spent most of his life in Lindenwold before moving to Clementon. He competed in track and basketball and enjoyed playing football. David had been a successful student at Lindenwold and Overbrook High Schools and will be fondly remembered as a well kept pretty boy who loved joking around and was fun to be with. David is survived by his mother Marilena Rivera, his step father Richard V. Still, his father David H. Rowe and his sisters Marielena and Marielisea Rivera. David is the maternal grandson of Ruth & the late Wilfredo Rivera and paternal grandson of Judith & Gilbert Rowe. David is also survived and will be sadly missed by his aunts Mildred Rivera (Tremaine Gadson) Maria Rivera (Shomari Boozer) and his cousins Marisol Muldrow, Benita Flores, Malik Muldrow, Marisa Rivera-Muldrow, Marialyssa Rivera, Marilorena Rivera-Shivers, Savion Rivera-Boozer and the late Xavier Boozer. Relatives and friends are invited to David's viewing on Thursday morning between 10 am and 12 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Lawrence Church, Lindenwold. Interment and graveside tribute will follow.
