Obituary of Isabelle Donnelly

(nee Rath) passed away at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Washington Twp. on Friday May 20, 2011. Mrs. Donnelly was born in Philadelphia. She spent her early years in the Kensington neighborhood and had graduated from the John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in 1943. In the late 40's she moved her family to Atco, NJ and worked as a floor supervisor for W.T. Grants in Hammonton for many years. Isabelle had been devoted to her faith and was a longtime and active Parishioner of Assumption Church where she participated in the prayer chain. In her later years she became a member of the Atco Senior Citizens and had organized the craft and exercise programs. At home, whether she was "in the mood" or if it was "what a little moonlight can do" she loved big band music and cheered on the Phillies! Isabelle will be fondly remembered as a kind hearted, loving mom and grand mom who was proud of her family. She loved to cook big family dinners at the holidays and play WAR with the grandkids. Mrs. Donnelly is the wife of the late John W. Donnelly, Sr. and is survived by her children Edith & her husband Butch Dunning and Jack & his wife Marie Donnelly. She is the proud grandmother of Greg (Kelly) Dunning, Joey (Nichole) Donnelly, Jeff Donnelly, Mike Dunning, Debbie (Alan) Bautista and great grandmother of Joseph, Connor, Annabella, Sophia, Isabelle and Addison. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Isabelle's viewing on Tuesday evening between 7 and 9 pm and on Wednesday morning between 8 and 9 am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr. Atco. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin.
