Obituary of Andrew C. Bellano

President John F. Kennedy had once said; "As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that highest appreciation is not to utter the words, but to live by them." Respect, kindness and love are the words Andrew C. Bellano lived by. He was a loving husband and devoted father who was the "go-to guy". If I had a box for wishes and dreams that had never come true, the box would be empty except for the memory of how they were answered by you. One gift above all others that God gives us to treasure, one that knows no time and no place and one that gold cannot measure is the precious, poignant, tender gift of memory. Andrew C. Bellano passed away on Sunday June 5, 2011 and had generously given a lasting legacy, the gift of life. Mr. Bellano was born in West Philadelphia and had graduated from St. Thomas Moore High School, class of 1959. Following graduation he attended Villanova University and graduated with a BA in Electrical Engineering, class of 1963. Mr. Bellano became a lifelong fan, activist and alumni of Villanova. He loved Wildcat track, chess basketball and especially football. He had been a season ticket holder and sat at the 50 yard line for over 40 years. He was even recognized by the university with a game ball for being the University's longest season ticket holder. Mr. Bellano was actively involved with Andy Talley Bone Marrow Foundation and had been instrumental in returning football to Villanova University. He had worked as a Program Manager for One Shield in Marlboro, MA and had previously worked at INA and Cigna. Andy was a lover of music and food but adored his grandchildren more than anything else. Mr. Bellano is survived by his wife of 47 years Rosemary (nee Macchia) of West Berlin his children Lisa & her husband Tom Soley of Marlton and John & his wife Lynne of Rancho Santa Fe, CA. He is the proud grandfather of Shannon, Griffin, Payton, Tatum and Ivy. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his siblings Joe Bellano, Carol DiMambro, Steve Bellano, Anthony Bellano and Linda Vollmer. Relatives and friends are invited to Mr. Bellano's viewing on Friday evening between 7 and 9 pm and on Saturday morning, the 25th anniversary of Roe & Andrew's wedding vow renewal, between 9 am and 10 am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am at St. Andrew's Church 27 Kresson-Gibbsboro Rd. Gibbsboro. Interment and graveside tribute will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin.
