Delores Cella

Obituary of Delores E. Cella

We know what happens today when it becomes yesterday. It waits for them, the timekeepers of eternity. June 13, 2011 became yesterday when, in the early morning hours, Delores E. Cella (nee Brown) fell asleep, unexpectedly in death. We fall from womb to tomb, from one blackness and toward another, remembering little of the one and knowing nothing of the other..except through faith. The most important things are the hardest to say. They are the things you get ashamed of because words diminish your feelings. Dedicated, loving, fun. When thinking about Delores these memories seem timeless in your head and life size when they're brought out. Delores was born in Mt. Holly and had been a recent resident of Voorhees. She recently had started teaching Surgical Technology at the Harris School of Business in Voorhees where her students adored her. At home she loved to cook and read, especially, Stehen King Novels. Books are the perfect entertainment. No commercials, no batteries and hours of enjoyment for each dollar spent. Delores is survived by her husband John R. Cella and her children Kyle and Chris Cella, all of Voorhees. She is the sister of Daniel Brown of Marlton and Diane Sherratt of MA. Relatives and friends are invited to Delores' viewing on Friday morning between 10 am and 12 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco where a funeral ceremony will be celebrated at 12 pm. Pastor Denise Thurman, officiating. Interment and graveside tribute will follow at Lakeview memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
