Obituary of Lillian M. Snuffin

God sees when the footsteps all falter, when the pathway has grown too steep, then He touches the weary eyelids, and gives His dear ones sleep. Lillian M. Snuffin of Clementon, NJ took her final footstep on July 20, 2011 at the age of 84 yrs. Lillian was an avid walker, walking in all weather conditions and always stopping to say hello to anyone who crossed her path. She volunteered over 25 years of service to West Jersey Hosp. in Berlin. She was a member of the St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Clementon, NJ and was a Past President of the American Legion Post #94 Ladies Auxiliary in Clementon, NJ. Lillian is predeceased by her husband Theodore. She is survived by her children, Leilani Madrid of Clementon, Emma L. Strong (John) of Wilmington, NY, Lillian M. Melin (James) of Ceres, CA, Ted O. Snuffin of Clementon and John Z. Snuffin (Gail) of Clementon. Lillian is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 14 Great Great Grandchildren, and two sisters, Norma Fitzgerald and Edie Raught both of Smethport, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to Lillian's Memorial Service on Monday July 25, 2011, 7:00pm at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 33 Berlin Rd., Clementon, NJ. The family will greet friends and neighbors starting at 6:00pm. Interment was private. In lieu of flowers contributions to either the Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053-3101 or to the Camden County Meals-on-wheels, 915 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08002.
