Obituary of Thomas E. Gordon

Thomas Edward Gordon Of Hammonton, NJ, age 59yrs, went to be with the Lord suddenly on May 19, 2009. He is the beloved husband of Diana (nee Strzelski). Father of Alex Gordon and his wife Nicholle of Hammonton, Nadia Gordon-Steen of Atco, Adam Gordon and his wife Nikki of Sicklerville, and his loving youngest son Todd C. Gordon of Berlin. He is also survived by his siblings, William Gordon Jr. of Santa Rosa, CA, Joan & Steve of NH, James & Judy of NH, Scott & Denise Gordon of NH, and David & Leslie Gordon of NH, his Godmother, Aunt Rita Cole of NH and many nieces and nephews. Tom gave to the community his time, devotion and energy. He was a lifetime member and former Asst. Chief of Louden Fire Co. and 3rd and 4th Degree Knight of Knights of Columbus Council 774. He will be remembered as a "Freedom Fighter." He was the State Representative of NJ Legislature for ABATE of the Garden State. He worked hard and diligently as a Medical Engineer for MLS in VA Beach. Tom was a very multi-faceted human being that God above endured on Earth. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday May 26th from 6-9pm and again Wednesday May 27th from 9-10:15am at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco (856)767-0539. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church, Rt. 73, Cedar Brook. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Tom and to honor his wishes, donations may be sent to the Trevor L.
