Obituary of Walter J. Regn

Walter J. Regn, Jr. age 71 of Atco, NJ passed away on Monday, August 29th at Virtua Hosp in Voorhees, NJ. Walt is survived by his wife, Kathy LeLache-Regn, his children, Richard Regn, Michele Azar and her husband Robert, Michael Regn and his wife Denice, Daniele Regn, Sharon Rosenberger-Mugrauer and her husband Tom all of Atco and the late Kathy Rosenberger. Walt is also survived by a sister, Dorothy Puleo and her husband Anthony of Hammonton, a niece, Lisa Puleo, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. God saw he was getting tired, and a cure was not to be; so he put His arms around him, and whispered, "Come with me." With tearful eyes we watched him suffer, and saw him fade away; although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest; God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the Best! And what hard working hands he had. While working full time at Owens-Corning Fiberglass in Berlin, NJ he found time to farm his land in Atco, growing potatoes, corn, asparagus and other produce. Walt was born and raised in Atco, a "good ol' boy" Walt enjoyed hunting, his dogs, working in his garden and farming. After retiring after close to 30 years with Owens-Corning, Walt worked at the Berlin Farmers Market. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday evening 6:00 to 8:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco (856)767-0539 Services will be held at 8:00pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
