Obituary of Lucille B. Harris

Lucille Harris (nee Burgess) of Pine Hill, NJ passed away on October 3, 2018 at the age of 85yrs. Lucille grew up in Mt. Airey, NC before moving to Richmond, VA. This is where she met her husband and began her journey in New Jersey growing an amazing family. Lucille is pre-deceased by husband, Elwood “Woody” and her son, Chris.  She is survived by her children, Terry Harris (Nancy), Timothy Harris (Anne Marie) and Lori Smith. She is also survived by a daughter in law, Heather Harris and her grandchildren, Terry Jr., (Debbie), Chris (Leigh Anne), Jennifer (Nate), Chelsea, Kylie, Tristan and Gracie. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

 

Lucille began her career at Virginia Power and Electric. She than went on to work for Campbell Soup and eventually ended her long-time career at Overbrook Junior High School.  Lucille was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #286 Ladies Auxiliary, Pine Hill, NJ.

 

She was a Loving Wife, Mother and extremely devoted Grandmother.

 

A viewing will be held on Tuesday morning, October 9, 2018 from 9:00am to 11:00am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Interment, Lakeview Memorial Park, Rt. 130 Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pine Hill American Legion Post #286, 250 Erial Rd., Pine Hill, NJ  0821 would be greatly appreciated. Condolences may be shared at www.lpwoosterfuneralhome.com
