The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ for some may say. My family and I were lucky enough to have helped Jim & Barbara find a new home on the Outer Banks with room enough for her piano, hutch, and hammock! I fell in love with this amazing couple and their family. Jim & Barbara tackled every challenge with love, perfection and stamina. Two of the finest people I know who set the most wonderful example for all those who met them. Smart, resourceful, caring, & talented are just a few words that fit Barbara. I loved getting emails from her and told her many times that she should write a novel. She lived a full life and always surprised me with a new story about something she and Jim had done. I'll miss her terribly but will love her always!

I am so sorry on the loss of your dear Barbara. Please accept my deepest condolences. What comforts me most in times like these are the reassuring words found in the scriptures. At Psalms 34:17 & 18, we are told that Jehovah hears our cries out to him, and he wants to help those who mourn.
