Obituary of Michelle N. Fothergill

A Picture is worth a thousand words and "beauty can be seen in all things. Seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph". Independence, Intellect, dedication and creativity are what separated Michelle. She was a loving and doting mother of 3, daughter, sister and friend, who left this world more beautiful. Michelle N. Fothergill passed away quietly and unexpectedly at home on Monday September12, 2011 at the age of 36. In what seems only to be a snapshot, Michelle was born in Stratford and had been a lifelong Berlin and area resident. She graduated with Honors from Eastern High School in Voorhees and was awarded a scholarship at the Savannah School of Art & Design in Savannah, GA. Photography and art were her passion. She had worked as a Nuclear Medical technician for MedStaff and briefly as a substitute teacher at the Berlin Community School. Most recently she worked as a Teachers' Aide and volunteered as a room mother at the school. Her favorite place was the most magical on earth, Disney World, but none was more special than spending time with her children. She was a good event planner and enjoyed being a part of her children's' lives at school and at play. We'll always remember you, mommy, and the love we'll always have for you. Michelle leaves to cherish her memory, her three children Caleb Fothergill, Bailey Ruth Gummel and Avery Rose Gummel. She is the daughter of Robert & Jacqueline (nee Del Gozzo) Fothergill and sister of Robin Laino and Adam Williams. "Tattoos are like stories; they're symbolic of the important moments in your life. Sitting down, talking about where you got each tattoo and what it symbolizes is really beautiful." The fothergill family will remember, celebrate and pay tribute to Michelle's beauty privately.
