I had the pleasure of meeting Lorie when I was a new nurse in the ICN many years ago. She was so kind to me and to everyone she met. She had an amazing spirit. I would sometimes run into her in the cafeteria or hallway even after our career paths had changed. The last time I saw her was right before her wedding. She was so excited and happy. I will never forget that. She was absolutely glowing. Her love for her family was always evident, especially for Elizabeth. She always had a proud mom story to tell. You will be missed. Rest easy Lorie.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. May you find hope and comfort in knowing that your dear Lorie is in the memory of our loving God Jehovah. God’s Word, the Bible, provides the greatest comfort of all. It states: “There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15; John 5:28, 29) Soon, by means of God's Kingdom, no one will ever fall prey of these ruthless enemies, such as sickness and death (Isaiah 33:24; 1 Corinthians 15:26). On the contrary we will welcome our loved ones on an earthly paradise.

I will always remember Lorie with a glow that she always wore!! She was funny, sensitive and a joyful friend, especially when she "squeaked " !! I have many wonderful memories to carry with me always, but I will miss her. I am blessed to have shared a tiny bit of life with her. Rest well, Lorie.

We were never Blessed to actually meet Lorie in person but we are friends with her mother and Vern. We have heard stories about Lorie, her husband and her daughter Liz from her very proud mom. Our hearts go out to the whole family, my heart is breaking for everyone’s loss. You are all in our prayers during this very difficult time. We continued praying for a miracle and I know God has his timing for all of us but it’s still a loss that’s beyond words of condolence . May God hold you all in his hands and carry you through this very difficult time.

Lorie was the most gentle, sweetest person. She found her calling in nursing and was so patient with the ones who needed it most. I always admired her ability to find beauty in everything and not see the negative. I will miss her but I am glad she is not in pain. Liz- she always spoke so highly of you and beamed with pride to talk about you. Praying for all.
