Obituary of Louise (Ethel Louise) Breen

Louise (Ethel Louise) Breen, 87, of Pine Hill, NJ passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 8, 2018. She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Ethel Starrett (Jahn) and husband, William Breen.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Needham and Diana Breen; her grandson, Jason Needham (Angie DiGioia) and great-grandson, Lucas Needham.

Louise devoted her life to her family and to the service of others. She was an active volunteer with The American Legion Auxiliary, Pine Hill Historic Society, Pine Hill Municipal Alliance and the Pine Hill Methodist Church. As a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary she was Past President of both Unit 230 (Westmont) and Unit 286 (Pine Hill), Past Camden County President, Past NJ Department President and Past Chapeau of 8 & 40 Camden County Salon 7. She was also Director of the American Legion Auxiliary NJ Girls State program for over 10 years in addition to having time spent as counselor and office manager. Relatives, friends and Legionnaires are invited to join the Breen family on Tuesday, November 13th from 5:30pm-7:30pm and on Wednesday, November 14th from 9:30am-10:30am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ for a time of grace, a time of renewal for the family and a time for healing the broken heart. A funeral ceremony will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30am at the funeral home, Pastor, Rev. Patti Davis officiating. Interment will take place at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden.
