Obituary of Rita Gertrude MacDonald

Rita Gertrude MacDonald, age 84, of Atco, NJ passed away on Monday November 19, 2018 at the Samaritan Center at Voorhees.  Beloved wife of Thomas MacDonald.  Loving mother of the late Rita Duda.  Proud grandmother of Gianna Duda.  She is also survived and will be sadly missed by her brothers Joey Boran and Tommy (Marie) Boran.

Rita was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a longtime resident of Atco.  She worked as a supervisor for many years in her husband’s store MacDonald’s Meats in Atco.  Rita was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer – Assumption Church. 

Viewing will be held on Saturday November 24, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ.  A funeral mass will begin at 12:00 pm at Christ the Redeemer Parish – Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SCHIZOPHRENIA AND RELATED DISORDERS ALLIANCE OF AMERICA (SARDAA), PO Box 941222, Houston, TX 77094-8222 in memory of Rita Duda.  Condolences may be shared at www.lpwoosterfuneralhome.com
