Obituary of Larry DeMark, Jr.
Larry David DeMark Jr., age 39, passed away suddenly at his home in New Jersey. He was born October 5th, 1979 to Larry and Paula. Besides his parents, Larry is survived by son Rory; sister Desiree; like-a-brother Keith; nieces Bailey and Faith; grandmother Joan; and Rory's Mother Bree. He is loved by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Larry was a Sterling High School graduate and still holds a school record in the High Jump. He traveled to the New York Film Academy and studied at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. He later worked in the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825 and Local 542.
Larry was a colored soul, who saw the beauty in anything visible. He tended to capture the good in every photo he had taken. Larry was an artist at heart and mind. He worked in the music industry, art world, and universality of beauty. Larry brought a smile to everyone's face with his off the wall tactics and spontaneous actions, and will forever be remembered for his special grace and unique sense of life.
His family believes that he would want everyone to remember: "Love doesn't look for faults, it chooses to look over them."
To Rory always remember, "I love the shit outta you kid. Love Dad."
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Laurel Springs Baptist Church, 35 Madison Ave., Laurel Springs, NJ 08021. A time to visit with the family will be from 2:00pm to 3:30pm and a Celebration of Larry's life will begin at 3:30pm.
