Dear Sweetie,
You were the only one who ever treated me as a family member. As a 10 year old child my mother (your daughter) left me home alone to take care of my 2 toddler sisters for 12 hours + every day. You were always the only one who acknowledged what was happening to me was wrong. During the school year, I would have to watch my siblings at night while my father did drugs and went into rages around us. My mother knew, but didn't care so long as a child was home taking his abuse instead of her. And when I finally left the abuse, you took me in. And my head was so messed up, half the time I didn't act grateful, but I was. And when I moved in with you, my mother finally threw my dad out, because it was unacceptable to her for "my sister" to go through the abuse I went through. I wasn't worth defending as far as she was concerned. But you defended me, Sweetie. You were the only one who stood up for me, and now you are gone. I love you Sweetie. I will see you again someday.

I am so sorry on the loss of your dear Victoria. For those who knew and loved her, please accept my condolences. It is good to reflect on the many years that she was able to enjoy. Even still, it is a challenge to go on without our loved ones. At Psalms 34:17 & 18, we are reminded that Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted, and he wants to comfort those who mourn. May you find solace and peace among relatives and friends in your time of need.
