Obituary of Robert R. Kreider

Robert R. Kreider 57 from Waterford Works, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 after a long illness. Bob was born and raised in Wilmington Delaware where he attended St. Patrick's Catholic School and served as an altar boy in the Cathedral. He spent most of his career in construction and finished as a Sales and Operations Manager for Overhead Door Company of Burlington Co. Throughout his illness, Bob still maintained a great sense of humor and always spoke highly of the love he shared with his family. As a result of his illness he became a stay at home Dad who enjoyed watching movies and spending time with "Pepper" his favorite cat. Robert is survived by his wife, Linda A. (nee Treftz) as well as his children, Kevin J. Kreider of Annapolis, MD, Kelly L. Kreider, Derek M. Kreider and Ryan R. Kreider, all of Waterford Works, NJ. Robert is also survived by his mother Evelyn Akers, a brother, Kenneth Kreider, and two sisters, Deborah Baker and April Akers, all of Wilmington, DE. In lieu of flowers, it was Robert's wishes that contributions to Linda Kreider be made for a fund to be used for the education of their children. A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 2nd from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 1:00pm. Internment will be held privately.
