Obituary of Robert T. White

Robert T. White, age 56, of Atco, passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday September, 27, 2011. Bob was a very caring and modest man, quick to lend a helping hand. Whether it was carpentry or electrical work, he was always willing and eager to help a friend or family member. When he wasn't helping someone, he could be found spending time with his close friends. His true passion though was cooking. He made his living as a chef and had most recently been working for Barry Catering in Berlin. A life-long resident of Atco, Bob also served time as a volunteer member of the Atco Ambulance Squad as well as the Atco Fire Company, Station 232. During his service, he had been recognized for saving a brother firefighter. Bob was loved by all who knew him for the selfless and humble man that he was. Bob is survived by his children, Daniel Powell and Stacey Baker (Chris). He is the proud grandfather of Jordan and Taylor Baker. He is also survived by his brother William White and will be sadly missed by many extended family members and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to remember, celeberate, and pay tribute to their old friend Bobby on Monday morning between 10 am and 12 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco where a remembrance ceremony will begin at 12 pm. Inurnment will be held privately.
