Obituary of Robert L Strempel

How do I say goodbye? The good times that made us laugh, outweighed the bad. It's so hard to say goodbye. At the end of a telephone call Bobby always said "I love you" but never said goodbye. He was a fun loving guy with a giant heart who would give you the shirt off his back. Although he had a good heart, he had a bad habit. On the morning of Friday October 7, 2011, Bobby didn't say goodbye. He passed away at the age of 49 suddenly and quietly at home in Waterford. Robert L. "Bobby" Strempel was born in Camden with a natural artistic talent for drawing. He spent 20 years in Dana Point, CA "on the beach" where he worked as a Paver Operator. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union; Local 12 in Pasadena, CA and a longtime member of the National Rifle Association (N.R.A.). Bobby Recently moved home to Waterford with his family. All the leaves are brown and the sky is grey. I've been for a walk on a winter's day. I'd be safe and warm if I was in LA, California dreaming this winter day. Bobby enjoyed his Coors Lite and was an avid collector who collected guns, crossbows, license plates and street signs. almost anything. He had been an amazing pool player and loved animals but most of all was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother uncle and friend. Bobby is the son of Raymond and his wife Kathleen Stremple and Lillian & her husband Wayne Alba. He is the father of Lauren Strempel and Sharleen Taylor. Bobby is the grandfather of Kyle Taylor and Sophie Rae Strempel and is the brother of Debbie Byrne and Bill Reiber. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his nephews John R. & Brandon C. Byrne as well as his many friends. Relatives and friends are invited to remember and pay tribute to Bobby on Monday afternoon between 12 and 1 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco where a funeral ceremony will begin at 1 pm. Inurnment will be held privately.
