Obituary of Homer H. Pratt

Homer H. "Hooper" Pratt, age 86 of Blue Anchor, passed away at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia on Tuesday October 25, 2011. Hooper enjoyed traveling and was a lifelong, avid hunter and fisherman with his son, on their charter boat the "Ursula" out of Sea Isle City. Homer was the head of Hooper's Hounds Hunting Club in Blue Anchor and had been a Free Mason of the M.B. Taylor F & AM Lodge 141 in Hammonton. Mr. Pratt is survived by his wife Ursula, his son Johnny (Dawn), his sister Ivis Gardiner and many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Hooper's viewing on Saturday morning between 10 am and 12 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco where a funeral ceremony will be celebrated at 12 pm. Interment and military tribute will follow at Bates Mill Cemetery, Blue Anchor. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hooper's Hounds Hunting Club 425 E. Central Ave., Blue Anchor, NJ 08037 or to a hospice of the donor's choosing.
