Obituary of Bessie Geraldine Smerkowitz

Geraldine B. Smerkowitz (nee Jones) has left the world at the age of 88 but her legacy of love lives on in her family. Geraldine was a strong willed, hard working family woman. She was born in Harveill, MO and had been a recent resident of Magnolia. Geraldine loved animals and Walmart and had worked as the Manager of Crown Jewel in Neshaminy, PA for 27 years before retiring in 1988. She is the survived by her daughters Shelley Wilson (Don) of Magnolia and Cindy Kolodziej (Mike) of Berlin. Geraldine is the proud grandmother of Josh and Shawn Wilson. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by her 3 nieces, Carolyn Smith of TX, Nelda Gambil of MO, and Renee Tinker of MO. Geraldine will be laid to rest in Poplar Bluff, MO.
