Obituary of Craig A. Scott
On the day of rest, Sunday November 27, 2011 Craig Scott's soul was awakened from its sleep in the temple of the spirit and rose up to the Lord.
Craig was born in Chester, PA and spent his early years in Delaware County. He later moved to New Jersey where he lived out the rest of his life. He graduated from Chichester High School, class of 1971, and had studied at Widner University as well as Andrews College . Craig worked at National Car Rental, Dollar Rent A Car and most recently Radwell International for the past 9 years where he was a well respected, National Sales Manager and had been awarded the 2011 Employee of theYear. Craig is remembered as an inspiration and an example of strength. He was friendly and giving and believed in leadership and diversity. He was the head coach of the Brookhaven Stars Hockey Club and volunteered his time as a big brother where he was awarded his Chapter's Big Brother of Year award. He was an active member of the Parkside Seventh Day Adventist Church and he was currently a member of the Dignity Philadelphia Religious Community. Craig was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. At home Craig loved baking, cooking, gardening or just spending time with his close friends and family.
Craig is the son of the late Charles & Grace (nee Patton) Scott. He is the brother of Charles & his wife Rose Scott of Millsboro, DE and preceded in death by his brother David Scott. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Charles (Gina) Scott, Kimberly (Ron) Bloom, Mark (Lauren) Scott, and preceded in death by David Lee Scott and many great nieces and nephews. The celebration of Craig's legacy of faith, hope and love will held privately. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. www.cancer.org
