Obituary of Marion Helen Price

Earth, teach me kindness, as dry fields weep with rain. Earth, teach me suffering as old stones suffer with memory, earth teach me acceptance, as the leaves which die in the fall. Earth, teach me renewal as the seed which rises in the spring. To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven, a time to plant and a time to pluck up what had been planted. That change of a season came for Marion H. Price (nee Llewellyn) when her sun set on Saturday December 17, 2011 at the age of 83. Mrs. Price's sun rose in Philadelphia in 1928. She loved the outdoors and camping with her family in the Wharton State Forest. At home she loved to crochet and had volunteered her time at the now defunct Kessler Hospital. Marion had been a congregant of the Hammonton Baptist Church. Although she had left school early she made a career as a "lunch lady" and worked as a cafeteria manager, most recently, for the Voorhees Twp. Board of Education We have beauty by God's touch. his flowers, his trees, his mountains, and we are comforted by knowing our mother and grandmother has found rest in the midst of all his wonders. Mrs. Price is survived by her children; Lorraine Ewing, Susan & her husband Frank Oberski and Lewis Price. Marion is the proud grandmother of Heather, Timothy, Matthew, Lewis, Katie and 5 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family on Thursday evening between 6:00 and 7:00 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco where a funeral ceremony will be celebrated at 7:00 pm. Inurnment will be held privately.
