Obituary of Nancy Gail Cassario

Nancy Gail Cassario, age 56, of Waterford, passed away on Sunday January 1st, 2012. Nancy is survived by her husband of 36 years, Luke(Butch) Cassario, her son Jason Cassario, (wife Sandra), her daughter Lindsay Castagna (husband Benjamin). Also survived by her mother Mary Cassario, her father George Cheesman, her stepmother Peggy Cheesman, her brother George Cheesman, sister Barbara Elliott, as well as many step-brothers and step-sisters. Nancy grew up in Magnolia, graduated from Sterling High School class of 1973, where she met her best friend and loving husband, Butch. The two of them would spend their life, living for each other and traveling the world, from places such as Guam to Italy, making a lasting impression on everyone she met, including those she helped while on missions' trips and feeding the homeless. She loved photography, the outdoors, riding horses, fishing, camping, and hiking. She was an active member of Cedar Brook Bible Church, where she was a devout Christian, who helped lead a Bible study for many years for young adults. Nancy devoted her time to being a mother figure to many, opening her home and heart to anyone. A huge animal lover, she also opened her home to many animals. She could make you laugh with her goofy, loud personality, her no fear attitude, and her love for making people smile. She had no boundaries, had trouble following the rules, but no matter what, lived her life for others. "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." Matthew 25:35-36 Relatives and friends are invited to join the Cassario family at Cedar Brook Bible Church, Cedar Brook, NJ on Saturday from 11am to 1pm, service time at 1pm.
