Obituary of Teresa A. Morse

Earth, teach me suffering as old stones suffer with memory. Earth, teach me quiet, as the grasses are still with new light. Teach me renewal as the seeds which rise in spring, and Earth, teach me freedom as the eagle which soars in the sky. On Friday January 12, 2012 Teresa A. Morse (nee Harmon) took a walk on a trail marked with pollen leaving an echo of smiles whispering softly down the ways, now that life is done. Teresa's little flower had bloomed in April of 1945. The story of her soul began in Camden and she had spent her early years in Berlin before moving to Atco. Teresa attended Edgewood High School in Winslow until she met Gary Morse and the rest of her life at the Carousel in Clementon Park. Together they shared 50 years of marriage. Teresa enjoyed collecting Carousels, music boxes and American Indian Dolls. She couldn't pass up an auction and enjoyed bad "B-rated" horror movies. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Earth teach me acceptance, as the leaves which die in the fall. Teresa leaves in her afterglow; her husband of 50 years Gary Morse, Sr. of Atco and her children Chris & his wife Linda of Felton, DE, Gary Morse, Jr. & Jennifer Mahoney of Berlin, Teresa & her husband Rob Leavy and Michael Morse both of Atco. Mrs. Morse is the proud grandmother of Christine, Caleb, Emily, Justin, Jacob, Rachel and great grandmother of Bailey. Teresa is also survived and will be sadly missed by her mother Mary & the late Mario Alibrando. Relatives and friends are invited to join the Morse families to celebrate Teresa safely home on Tuesday afternoon between 11 am and 1 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco where a funeral ceremony will be celebrated at 1 pm. Fr. Thomas Barcellona, officiating. Inurnment will be held privately.
