Obituary of Dolores M. Amadio

Dolores Margaret Amadio (ne Piccone), 80, of Berlin, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, died January 17, 2012 with her family at her side. Born September 21, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA to Anthony and Frances Piccone, she met and married Angelo Amadio on September 25, 1954. She spent her life as a dedicated mother, raising her three daughters with her husband who worked as a carpenter. She enjoyed spending time with her family, Jeopardy, video poker at the casino, and making sure everyone had enough to eat. A woman of quick wit and good humor, she joked until the very end. She is survived by her three daughters; Loretta & her husband, Joseph Nocella; Angela & her husband, Kevin Davis, Andrea & her husband, James Miller; her seven grandchildren; Angelo and Matthew Nocella, Alexandra, Justin, and Christian Davis and Isabella and Kate Miller; her sister Josephine, & her husband Michael Nardotti, and brother Louis Piccone & his wife Marie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo. A viewing will be held at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco Thursday evening from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday morning from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Simon Stock Church in Berlin, burial at Gates of Heaven Cemetery to follow.
