Obituary of John A. Stephan

On June 9, 2009 of Laurel Springs, NJ, age 86yrs. Beloved husband of Constance E. (nee Long). Dear father of Jack Stephan (Donna) of Williamstown, NJ, Robert Stephan (Kathy) of Silver Springs, MD, and Diana J. Wilson (Lewis) of Johnstown, PA, and step-father of Stephen Smith of Glassboro, NJ and Bruce Smith (Cherie) of MI. Proud grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 3. Mr. Stephan proudly served his country as a pilot in the US Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War. He was a 30yr member and former Fire Chief of Stratford Vol. Fire Co. Mr. Stephan graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He then taught Mechanics at Overbrook High School and retired as a Civil Engineer for Voorhees Twp. He was an intelligent man who wore many hats through the course of his life. Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
