Obituary of Marie Emmons

Marie Emmons, age 85, of Gibbsboro, NJ passed away on Friday, January 18th, 2019. Caring wife of the late Harley. Loving mother of the late Harley Jr. (Doris), Timothy, Todd, and Tracey (Jill). Proud Grammie of the late Thomas, Erica (Terence), Brandon (Valerie), and Madison. Great Grammie of 5 and Great great Grammie of 1. Loving sister of the late Rosie and late Cookie. Survived by Lola, Helen, Alberta, Sid, Peter, Ronald, Manuela, and John.

Marie was born in South River, NJ. She moved to the South Jersey area in 1970. Marie retired from 3M Company, where she was a manufacturer of electrical components. Upon retirement, Marie loved to go out with friends on “Oldies Night”. You could see her “dressed to the 9’s” and dancing to her favorite songs at the Coastline, Mama Ventura’s, and Degenhardt’s. Marie stopped going out dancing when smoking was prohibited in nightclubs and restaurants. In her later years, Marie enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Services will be private.
