William Cummings

Obituary of William L. Cummings

William “Billy” Cummings, 54, of Atco, NJ, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 12, 2019.  Born on October 16, 1964 in West Jersey hospital in Camden, NJ. Billy grew up in Newfield, NJ and graduated from Delsea High School in 1984. He then proudly served as an E3 in the US Navy on the SS Orion from 1984 to 1988, where he was stationed in Italy.

True to his family upbringing, Billy had a passion for fishing. He was a former member of the Squidhounds Fishing Club, where he enjoyed competing in fishing tournaments alongside his brothers and father.

Billy loved watching football and was a diehard Eagles fan.  He would rarely be seen without his Eagles hat and Jersey. He was also a hard and dedicated employee, working over 20 years at Fairlite Electric and most recently at Jack Son Manor (Parkwoods).

Billy was survived by his father, Frank Cummings and Laurelle Cummings; Mother, Ann Hollinger and Ken Hollinger; Brothers: Frank Cummings, Lynn; Donald Cummings and Joel Fishbein; Sisters: Brenda Arico (Cummings), Frank; Lynne Baron (Fishbein), Mike; Sherill Beatty (Fishbein), Jim; and Debbie Panzarella (Fishbein); and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Viewing and services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 12 PM to 2 PM at Wooster Funeral Home (441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004).

A private family military service and burial will be held at a future date at the Brigadier General William C Doyle Memorial Cemetery (NJ Veteran Cemetery). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to:
