Dear family: I am so saddened to hear about Aunt Eleanor's passing. I love her very much. I have so many wonderful memories of her. Times we went swimming down the shore, playing Michigan Rummy, her teaching me how to speak German and sing in German, making plum torte and spatzle, and how she used to whistle all the time in the most beautiful tone. I will never forget the day I asked her if I could call her "Aunt". She was and always be my favorite aunt and I have missed her all these years. My prayers and thoughts and love are with you all.

My beautiful, most loving, precious, generous always there for all dear aunt ele. My thoughts and prayer's are with all of you, we all were so blessed to have her in our lives for so many years. Dwell on all the beautiful, special memories she gave each of us. She was the most loving mother, grandma, great grandma, sister to my beautiful mom and friend to all. Thank the Lord for Sharleen the most wonderful, loving, caring unselfish, daughter-in-law in the whole wide world, Aunt Ele was so blessed to spend her last two years with Tom and Sharleen what a gift from God, I admire both of you for all your devotion, and you both are so humble. We love all of you so much, and she was so blessed to have Tom, Gary, Jeff and Greg four wonderful sons that a mother could ask for what a life. Our lives were blessed because of our beautiful Eleanor. God bless. Love Diane and Jerry Meartz

To the Cullen and Cyr families: I am so saddened to hear about the loss of your wonderful mother/grandmother/aunt and friend. Though I only had the pleasure of meeting her a handful of times, I have been touched by the many, many stories I have heard about her. May her spirit live on in all of your hearts...
An Irish Blessing:
May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow
May the soft winds freshen your spirit
May the sunshine brighten your heart
May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you
And may God enfold you in the mantle of His love.
Wishing you all comfort and peace,
Maureen, Rob and Sam

Grandma, allthough you are bearly gone you are already greatly missed. You will allways be remembered as one of the sweatest, nicest woman to have walked this earth. I will never forget how how you used to tell me a story that you were an Alien and that Jason and Shana found you and your spaceship in the park one day. When I was little, you even taught me the method I use to tie my shoes… that I still use to this day. I love you grandma, you were a great grandmother and you will be indeed greatly missed.

Aunt Eleanor,
I'm not the best public speaker, but I can type. You are (not were) the best Aunt anyone could ever ask for.
I'll always remember the trips to the beach & Lake Hopatcong with a picnic basket of peanut butter & jelly & tuna sandwiches in tow. With the world on your shoulders supporting your own family, I'm sure, you took the time to remember me and mine, as well. You made it all seem so effortless and fun loving & gave me hope for a brighter future. You also taught me that you don't need a lot of material possessions to be happy, but that family and a positive attitude would carry one through even the darkest moments, one day at a time (I'm still working on that one though).
I also remember one day you & Tommy (my Godfather) took me to Asbury Park (I called it Raspberry Park), all by myself & let me go on all the rides. That was a day of heaven for a 5 yr old that didn't have much to speak of otherwise. I came home with a dress with those glued on moving eye thingies (whatever they're called), that I treasured for years.
I'm glad I got to see you in your final moments on this planet & say so long for now. There's no end; just another new beginning. I hope I can live up to your legacy & see you where I'm sure you are.
Love Always,
Cathy

Eleanor, my mothers sister, my aunt and godmother, my sisters aunt, mother to four fabulous men, a lady, a warrior for Anyone in need, may have passed to the next phase of life, but passed she did in life like few others could only hope for for theirs. What genes, compassion, and humility she possessed, a wonderful role model for any young girl. Her likes don't pass by so easily. She was a fire of warmth for me and I love her heart for all. How inspirational for all she is.
