Obituary of Walter C. Reighn

Walter Charles Reighn, 64, passed away March 1, 2012. He was born in Camden, August 16, 1947 to Doris Reighn (deceased). He was a loving husband to Donna Marie for 31 years. Walter retired in 2010 from the Naval Surface Warfare Center in South Philadelphia where he worked for 26 years as a Quality Assurance Specialist. He was an avid bowler and served as a lecturer at Assumption Church in Atco, for the past six years. He had been very involved with the Knights of Columbus for the past 15 years, having received his fourth degree, and also served as Grand Knight. Walter is survived by four children: Michael Christopher (Nadine), 40, of Maple Shade; Brian Anthony, 38, of Hoboken; Lisa Marie, 31, of West Chester, PA; and Matthew Walter, 27, of Atco. He is also survived by one grandchild, Lauren Elizabeth, 9, of Maple Shade. A viewing will be held from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Monday and from 9:00am to 10:00am on Tuesday at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White horse Pike, Atco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Cherry Hill Knights of Columbus, Council 6173 P.O.
