Obituary of Joanne DeCample
Joanne DeCample, age 78, of Cedar Brook, NJ, passed away on Saturday March 30, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of 48 years to the late Sante DeCample, Sr. Loving mother of Sante “Bud” DeCample, Jr., Suzanne DeCample Calabrese (late James), Gina Ayres (Rick), Lisa DeCample, and Angela DeCample. Proud grandmother of the late Nicole, Rick Jr., Gabrielle, Giovanni, the late Cody, Carly, and Robert Jr; great-grandmother of Faith Nicole and David Cody. Dear sister of the late Nina Bowell. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Joanne was born in Philadelphia, PA, raised her family in Blackwood Terrace, NJ and resided in the Cedar Brook section of Winslow Twp., NJ for the past 20 years. She was a parishioner of Infant Jesus Parish – St. John Vianney Church for many years. Joanne was the matriarch of her family, and loved taking care of all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday April 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at Infant Jesus Parish – St. John Vianney Church, 2901 Good Intent Rd., Deptford, NJ. At Joanne’s request, there will be no viewing or visitation prior to mass.
