Beloved son of Nancy (nee: Sapper) and the late Clifford G. Smith, Sr.; loving father of Brandie States and Caroline “C.J.” Smith; grandfather of Ava and Christopher; dear brother of Robin Bates; uncle of Raymond Bates and Brittany Bates.
